Except it had black HREs on it. 'A C6, pfft, so what?' I see tons of those on the internet all the time, right? Well a car has a presence in real life that no picture on a screen can give it.
I'm sure someone will soon chime in about what a piece of shit it is and how the interior sucks and all that. Ain't Care. On his wait out, he hit 6k on the LS7. I will own it one day. It must happen, one way or another.

They're fun cars to drive. I'm even willing to overlook the Tonka-truck interiors.

Just wait until you do an HPDX or track-day event and one comes blowing past you in its high-revving-V8-glory, and then your ride-along instructor has to yell at you to get back on the road because you lost all focus in admiration. Truly a great car, and I don't believe the C7 can ever hold as special of a place in my heart.

Fit a decent pair of aftermarket seats and you're good. Yeah, GM shoulda gotten this right ages ago, but it's not a difficult or too-costly fix.

I agree, man. I've seen a few of them around, they certainly have regained a presense about them that Corvettes have been missing for a very long time.

If you get one second hand for cheap, who cares about the interior.
The issue with the interior was that when new, these weren't cheap.

Absolutely. Though I might own a C5z first, not sure if I will be able to afford a C6z for a while.
Also, the interiors do really suck. It's a bummer, but as someone else said... slap in some decent seats and you're good to go. Though that's expensive, so tough to say that.

I like the looks of the C6.

I heard rumors the next Z06 will be supercharged. :( No more high revving V8s from chevy.
You can still have Texas Speed, Hennessy or whoever build you one (600 HP with just a head cam!!!!) but it's not the same. RIP LS7

I never really got the whole "corvette interior is sucks" argument because I sat in one once and it was great. Sure maybe the materials could be better and switches and stereo could be better but its a corvette not a luxury car. Maybe it's fat people who dont like bucket seats or the cup holder isn't big enough for a KFC bucket.

Sure maybe the materials could be better and switches and stereo could be better but its a corvette not a luxury car.
It, for some time now, has cost around ~$50k to get one. Higher trim models can approach six figures. It doesn't matter if it has a luxury badge on it or not; when you ask this kind of money, your customers expect a quality product in return, and the Corvette has fallen far short of it's rivals in interior quality for some time now. A ~$50k car, luxury or not, should not feel cheap to sit in.
"But...it's fast." So? It's easy to make a car fast. You might not get it, but considering all the noise GM made about the C7s interior, they do.

That is just my point the customers are fat old rich men who bitch and moan about his car not having the same interior as a much more expensive euro car. Its a sports car its about performance not interior quality.
It is not easy to make a car fast.
And just because Chevy changes the interior for this generation and made it fancier or better quality doesn't prove that the old interior sucked. I dont think the old interior sucked.
